Online Registration for SecReT 2010

The online registration and accommodation process consists of three steps.

1. Provide personal and contact information in the registration form at the Centro de Formación Permanente of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
2. Introduce institutional data, arrival and departure information, check-in and check-out dates at the hotel, and invoice data. Here you have to choose the way of payment, either online payment or wire transfer.
3. Within the next five workdays you will receive an e-mail acknowleadging your registration at SecReT 2010. This e-mail will contain the link that you must follow to do the online payment if you chose this option. Your registration and accommodation will be effective only after payment.

The registration fee is 300 euro and includes:

• Coffee breaks
• Lunch for days June 18, 19 and 20
• Social dinner on June 19

Full registrations are only considered. Hotel accommodation is not included in the registration fee but it is booked through the online registration above. The deadline for early registration is June 6. Late registration and accommodation will be allowed but it will depend on availability at the hotel.

The fee for late registration is 400 euro.

Hotel accommodation

SecReT 2010 will be held at Hotel Sidi Saler (5-star) during June 18-20 2010. SecReT has negotiated preferential rates for accommodation for the nights of June 17, 18, 19 and 20 of 2010. Accommodation before or after these dates depends on availability, but the same rates will be applied. Below you can find the different rates (including buffet breakfast).

• Double room for individual use (85€/day)
• Double room (120€/day)
• Double shared room. Only for two registered delegates (60€/day)

All rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and internet access.

Hotel cancellation policy (new)

Hotel cancellation is allowed as follows: full reimbursement if 15 or more days before the workshop; 50% reimbursement if 15-7 days before the workshop; and no reimbursement otherwise.

Venue

The Hotel Sidi Saler is the only five-star hotel in the metropolitan area of Valencia wih an ISO 9001:2000 certificate. It is located at the beautiful beach of El Saler and inside the National Park of La Albufera, the largest freshwater lake in Europe connected to the sea. The international airport of Valencia is about 22 km far from the hotel and the city of Valencia is about 12 km far.

A bus shuttle will be organized to reach the hotel on Thursday June 17 and to go to the airport on Monday June 21. Additional bus trips may be organized depending on arrival schedules. Taxis are also available at 20-30 euros. The hotel also provides a bus shuttle available from/to the airport upon request.
